Cold Weather Shelters

Homeless Link aims to end rough sleeping by 2012. To turn this into reality, Homeless Link is working to develop a better picture of who is currently sleeping rough and what hostel accommodation is available for them in London.

The period when cold weather shelters are open offers a window of opportunity to gain information on who is staying in them and their access to hostels. In February 2008 we undertook a snapshot survey of cold weather shelters and outreach teams across London to gather and compare this information.
