Welcome to Homeless Link's training pages. We currently deliver training in three main ways:
- Skills for the Job training programme
- In-house training delivered direct to your staff team
- Consortium training delivered to your local region, in partnership with agencies

First aid - Would you know what to do?

Homeless Link have teamed up with first aid experts, the British Red Cross, to offer a which is tailored to the needs of the homelessness support sector.
In seven hours, you can gain the confidence and life-saving skills to make a real difference in the event of an accident or medical emergency.

Skills for the job short courses
Homeless Link's Skills for the job courses take place in London as well as in-house, and are designed to offer essential frontline skills to those working with homeless people, as well as specialist courses for managers in the field. Most courses listed below, plus many more, are available as in-house and as tailored regional training. Homeless Link specialises in providing key frontline skills to those working directly with homeless people, as well as meeting higher level training needs in areas such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), hostel and day centre management, and managing and preventing evictions.

Training days
Participants start the day by registering at 9.30 am and enjoying networking over tea and coffee, before beginning the day's course at 10 am. Lunch is provided, and courses aim to finish by 4.30 pm. Please note that there are some exceptions to the specified time, of which you will be notified in advance. We hope you will find our Skills for the job courses a stimulating and invaluable experience.
One-day course bargains for members only
Three courses for £350
It’s up to you how you use this offer: train a group of three members of staff on one course, choose three specialist training courses that would benefit you, or pick and mix. Offer available on all one-day courses only.
