Funding
These pages provide information about funding for organisations providing services for homeless people.
What's New?
- Lindsay Hoyle MP has put forward Early Day Motion 796 suggesting that the House pay tribute to - and that local authorities and government financially assist - the good work being done by Help the Homeless, a charity that assists other voluntary organisations to help single homeless people reintegrate into mainstream society by providing small and large capital grants. Visit the Help the Homeless website for more information, including how your organisation can apply for one of their grants.
- Communities and Local Government has announced £70 million investment to expand the Places of Change programme to more hostels and day centres across the country. Homeless Link has organised a number of briefing sessions to give guidance around funding applications for the new Places of Change programme.
- A new pilot project will be working with 10 day centres around the country to help them use the Invest to Save model to apply for funding under the new Local Area Agreements.
