This section contains information and good practice examples to help organisations providing services to homeless people develop these services and help bring about an end to homelessness.
Our dedicated Handbooks good practice microsite now includes a section on education, employment and training services. Other sections cover hostels, day centres, resettlement and street outreach.

- Communities and Local Government (CLG) has announced the 15 social enterprises that will compete for a £500,000 prize fund through Spark. Read more.
- Homeless Link has announced the winners of the Michael Whippman and John Laing Charitable Trust Day Centre of the Year awards.
- Homeless Link has published a report into housing organisations' use of outcomes measurement systems.
Homeless Link training
- Our short training courses provide essential skills for staff at all levels.
- Homeless Link has launched a new service to enable member organisations to have a complete training needs analysis for staff.
- Do you find that Homeless Link's scheduled courses are too far away or beyond your budget? Our Consortium training is designed for you.
- Leading places of change is a leadership programme for service managers in the homelessness sector. It has been developed jointly by the Chartered Institute of Housing, Homeless Link and Broadway and is funded by Communities and Local Government.

Moving people forward
