Advisory Council
The National Advisory Council (NAC) is the forum set up to enable senior individuals working for member agencies to have a role in informing the policy and practice of Homeless Link.
The NAC does not govern the organisation but gives strategic advice on the development and impact of government policy on the ground. The NAC provides Homeless Link with the experience of member agencies and informs Homeless Link of the views and needs of members and their service users.
This is a great opportunity for experienced and knowledgeable people to share their skills and expertise to look at the big picture in homelessness and to identify strategic issues and potential responses.
The aims of the NAC are to improve communication, information, policy development and practice for homelessness services and ultimately homeless people.
NAC members play an important role in shaping the national voice of a confident sector able to provide well thought out responses to decision makers and to ensure that across the country homeless people can access good quality services they want to use and which meet their needs.
